Shrek Sux

Sometimes when I'm bored I like to keep myself busy thinking about which 21st century cultural phenomenon I despise with greater intensity: Shrek or Lord of the Rings.

On the one hand, the Lord of the Rings movies are long and boring and dorky. Normally cool people--like Jean--get all geeky and weird when they talk about them. But on the other hand, Shrek is just unbearable. I mean completely unbearable. Is there a visual equivalent to noise pollution? It's green. Everywhere. Total Shrek pollution.
